Still, “Earl Grey Tea” is a broad term that doesn’t really describe my intention or what I’m looking for. What do I want to know about earl grey tea? To clearly define my search I can use “long-tail keywords” which combine several terms to get my point across. Here’s what happened when I searched “Earl Grey Tea Health Benefits”:

Combining those terms narrowed down the results and cut out any other information unrelated to my search. As a brand or business, you will need to clearly define your niche or target market to be successful. If your current content is too broad or general, how will your consumers find you amongst your peers? In an over-saturated industry, having a niche cuts down the competition. Once you identify your core audience and cater to their needs and interests, you’ll be able to turn them into lifetime buyers.
